So how are the plans for a get together coming?
Doesn't have to be anything fancy and a little sooner than the end of August might work better for me as that is usually a very busy time for me at work.
A Saturday or Sunday might work better for most people than trying to cram it into a weeknight. Friday night Half the crowd goes out and the other half are too tired to go out.
I'll try that ingame channel and see if anyone is hanging out there.

If you have any iskies ingame you can buy Eve time codes from other players on the sell order forum. I'm not sure if the game cards are sold locally, you'd have to call around.

I guess I'll try again sometime but it doesn't seem like anybody here is really pursuing a local get together with any real enthusiasm. If that should change feel free to contact me and count me in for any gatherings.

It was merely an observation and an open offer to participate should something actually develop, sorry you took it personally.
I would be willing to organize something, but there is already something (albeit seemingly up in the air atm) in the works. I'm really hoping the August get together works out and if there is anything I can do to help it along let me know, but atm the idea seems to be struggling to stay alive.
I haven't given up, I check to see if there is anyone in the MN-USA channel from time to time and one of these times we're bound to be in there at the same time.
Just another idea... it's summertime, we could always do a BBQ at some park or even someone's backyard for that matter.

Well, I tried. I went to O'Garas and walked thru the entire place twice. I didn't see Trev or any other faces I recognized so I turned around and left. I went to the coffee shops across the street and notta. I was looking forward to seeing all of you but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I gave Trev my cell number in the beginning of the week so I was hoping maybe I'd get a call when I wasn't there by 8:30 or so but nothing. Without any way to get ahold of anyone at the meet I basically got disgusted and went home to walk my dog.
